YouTube forces me to sign up to Google+ (read: Google Minus) to answer questions even on my *own* videos.
I will never sign up to their “service”, as I also will never sign up to FaceBook or any other so-called “social” crap.
The only solution for now is to disable all comments on my videos.

If you have to turn slender parts, the problem is that multi-path turning will weaken the part and it will bend under the cutting forces.
The trick (certainly NOT my invention), ist to cut the shape in a single pass from stock that is rigid enough not to bend.
Turned on a Haas TL-2. Works on a manual lathe too.
Out of curiosity, I turned a rod ø0.3 mm, 5 mm long (not shown here).
