Repairing an Evinrude 9.9 Recoil Unit – So easy a kid could do it!

Help! The handle on my outboard motor won’t go back in and I can’t start it. Easy fix for a bad recoil unit. Replace the broken spring or just re-seat it and preload so it works again.
