Making a wooden nut cracker (nutcracker)

How to make a wooden nut cracker from basic recycled materials to a quality end product, two thirds of the 3 hour make time was spent on sanding and polishing, I had the use of a band-saw, drill press and linisher (fixed belt sander) which greatly improved the speed and quality.

The large 1 inch screw size means it can crack Brazil’s and Almonds with little effort.

All the Iroko used is reclaimed timber and all off cuts are burnt on an open log fire, so no waste.
