Here’s a video on how to remove metal shields from a ZZ imperial shielded ball bearing.
• First you will need a small flat head screwdriver
• Use the screwdriver to pry a small gap between the inner race and the shield
• Use the screwdriver to gently pry the shield off the bearing
• Sometimes the shield may be a little harder to remove and you may have to pry in 2 or 3 places
