Hi Guys,
This is my video on removing a security locking wheel nut not the socket method.
Tools Used:
1. Angle Grinder
2. Club Hammer
3. Cold Chisel
I did try the socket method however it did not work for me as I have the type that the outside collar spins.
The car is my Subaru Outback 2004 3.0 and as you can see it took less than 2 minutes to remove using this method.
WARNING:
1. Take safety precautions, using an angle grinder without any eye protection is dangerous.
2. Be careful that any hot sparks do not set alight any oil or brake fluid residue.
It’s easy to damage your alloy wheel with the angle grinder so pay extra care as you may end up catching the wheel as I did in this video, however the other 3 were fine.
